（1）多摩川の全水域にわたる大型無脊椎底生動物相の構成および分布を調査し、生物地理学上における多摩川の位置特性を明らかにし、とくに、トワダカワゲラ・ムカシトンボ・キタガミトピケラ・マキシマトピケラなどの重要性の分布確認をする。 （２）生物学的水質判定による多摩川の水質汚濁調査の基礎資料を作成し、多摩川における生物学的水質判定の問題点を明らかにする。 (1) We investigated the composition and distribution of benthic macroinvertebrate fauna in the entire Tamagawa River basin, and then characterized the River biogeographically. The distribution of precious species was observed: for example, scopura longa, Epiophlebia superstes, Limnocentropus insolitus and makishimatobikera [a species belonging to Hydropsychinae] (2) Here we provided basic data for the water pollution assessment of the Tamagawa River, and discussed actual problems with the biological assessment of the water quality of the Tamagawa River. |
