八王子市が管理している農業用水路（施設）の台帳を見せていただき、施設形態が残存していると考えられる用水路と平成10年ごろ廃止届けがでているが再利用されている用水路を含め、26の用水路を現地調査を実施した。実施した調査内容は論文に明記しているが、要点をあげると、取水口、用水路の断面形状を図化、写真記録、景観、水利用状況を必要な方法で記録し、これらの資料を分析して現状を記述した。ここに述べた着目点にもとづく調査は、市の用水管理課では調査したものはなく全用水路の現状が、絵図と写真で全貌が理解できるようにしたものである。これは、この調査、研究成果は今後水田および用水路を保全、活用する上で有用なデータになるものと考えられる。 We were given the opportunity to view the ledger of irrigation channels for agricultural use (facilities) managed by Hachioji City, and conducted a field survey of 26 irrigation channels, including irrigation channels where types of facilities are thought to survive and channels that were notified as having ceased to be used about 10 years ago but which are now being reused. The content of the survey is detailed in our paper, but with regard to the main points, we illustrated the intakes and cross-sections of the channels, took photographs, and recorded the landscape and water usage situation using all means necessary; we then used these materials to analyze the situation and detail the current state of affairs. The survey, which was based on the key points listed above, is not the sort of survey that is carried out by the municipal Water Supply Management Department, but enables a general overview of the current situation in all irrigation channels to be gained from photographs and graphical representations. We believe that the outcomes of this survey will form useful data for conserving and utilizing rice paddies and irrigation channels in the future. |
