本調査では、（１）平井川流域の崖線に残された湧水点を正確に把握する、（２）平井川およぴ川に注ぎ込む湧水や種々の雑排水の水質およぴ水量を調査する、（３）こうした調査活動を通し、地域の人々の環境向上への意識を高めることを目的とした。 調査対象地域である平井川は、多摩川右岸上流の支流であり、採水場所は多摩川の合流点（旧秋川市）から平井川の中流域の東平井橋上堰（日の出町）間とした。また、乎井川の支流では生活排水が多い氷沢川も調査した。 The purposes of this study were: 1) to accurately understand the number of springs along the cliff line of the Hirai River; 2) to assess the water volume and quality of the Hirai River, as well as of spring waters and waste water flowing into the River; and 3) to promote the environmental awareness of local residents through these activities. In this study, the Hirai River basin was surveyed: it is a tributary of the Tama River , and flows into the right side of the Tama River . Sample collection sites were selected between the meeting point of the two rivers (in the former Akigawa City ) and Higashi Hirai Bridge Weir of the middle basin of the Hirai River (in Hinode Town ). The Hizawa River , a tributary of the Hirai River , was also assessed because a considerable amount of domestic waste water flows into this river. |
