（１）湯殿川(a)．兵衛川（b)の水質の現況の把握とデーターの集積 （２）環境保全教育のための教材開発 （３）人口増加と河川の水質変化の関係を知ることにより、自然環境に強い関心を生徒にもたせる。 （a）湯殿川：八王子市の南西部の山地より東端の長沼町で浅川と合流するまで、市を東西に流れる約１０Kmの河川。 （b）兵衛川：八王子市南部宇津貫町の丘陵地を水源とし、東へ流れ、同片倉町で湯殿川に合流する約５Kmの河川。 (1) Water quality assessment of the Yudono River (a) and the Hyoe River (b); and data collection. (2) Development of educational materials for environmental education. (3) Providing students with an opportunity to understand the relationship between population growth and water quality of rivers and to become more interested in the natural environment. (a) The Yudono River: it is about 10-Km long, flowing east-west through the City; it originates from the east edge of a hill in the south-west of Hachioji City and joins the Asaｇawa River in the Naganumamachi District of the City. (b) The Hyoe River: it is about 5-Km long; it originates from a hill in the Utsunukimachi District in the south of Hachioji City, flows east and joins the Yudono River in the Katakuramachi District of the City. |
