Research Summary |
On the banks of the Tama River, a course on the collection and preparation of specimens of natural history, especially plants and insects, was conducted for university students and children, and specimens of organisms that invaded after the disturbance caused by the typhoon in 2019 were collected. It was conducted in a regular university course as part of the museum training. An example of a lecture by a university was formed for children in the headwaters of the Tama River. We conducted a survey on the collection and its policy of natural history specimens in the Tama River basin, especially for the Yamanashi prefecture side and the pavilions in the upper reaches of the Tama River, and listened to and data on the vulnerability of the natural history specimen storage system in Yamanashi prefecture. Revealed. In the future, we will continue to collect specimens through student training in collaboration with organizations that are already actively collecting specimens in Yamanashi Prefecture. In addition, we would like to contribute to the distributed storage of natural history specimens by cooperating with the storage facilities in Tokyo and working on the collection of specimens in Yamanashi prefecture. |
