Research Summary
多摩川の生物とくに藻類を調査して、藻類植生の実態を把握する。付着藻と水質汚濁の関係はかなり多くの河川で調査をされているが、流下藻の調査は少ないので、今回はそれに重点をおいた。多摩川の地点による差は当然考えられるので全域で30地点を選び調査を行った。1日における経時変化も考えられるので、中流の日野橋で2時間おきの調査を10回行っている。
季節変化も考慮して1週間に1回を目標に午後l時日野橋で107回の調査を行っている。

This research examined the organisms in the Tamagawa River ?algae, in particular?in order to understand the algal flora. The relationship between attached algae and water pollution has been widely studied in many rivers; yet not so much for floating algae (drift algae). For this reason, we mainly investigated floating algae in this study. Along the entire Tamagawa River , we selected as many as 30 sites to conduct investigation at, because it was believed that results would be different from site to site. Taking into account daily changes over time, 10 every-two-hour surveys were conducted at Hino Bridge located in the middle Tamagawa River basin

Taking seasonal variation into account, 107 surveys were carried out at the Hino Bridge at 1:00 PM once a week.
