Research Summary |
“Josuiki” is 10-volumed remaining document issued in1791 and is important to understanding the role of the diversion network belonging to the Tamagawa Josui water channel. According to volume 3, there were 33 diversion channels, and at the top of each diversion channel there was “Bunsuiko”, a diversion port, which was also called as “Jusuiko” or “Sabuta” but each has a different role, for receiving water flowing from the Tamagawa Josui water channel. |
