Summary

We reseached where and how much the river native plants are growing in the Tama River.

We found many populations of them.

But the great rise of river in last autumn caused large-scale damage to the riverbank in the Tama River.

So we can find now for example only 63 Kawaranigana (Ixeris tamagawaensis (Makino) Kitam.) that we found 21,589 populations in 2018.

We will research from now on whether the river native plants grow again in riverbanks.
