Summary

I surveied nest of Micromys minutus how set up 40 spots from 19th June 2016 to 26th November and 10th June 2017 to 3th December 2018.

Result, I Found 16 areas and 91 nests for two years.

What the nest composed by some Miscanthus sacchariflorus, accounted 86.8 persents.

The most nests was made in high position, the average was 70.8 persents

I couldn’t find some nests in down Tama river.

I surveied nest of Micromys minutus that remake after a flood, how set up in Hino City of Tama riverside for 25th October, 29th,30th.

Result, I found a nest after 7 days after a flood.

I put a sensorcamera in Hino City of Tama riverside for 3 times, 9th October 2017 to 16th October 2017 in first time, 8th April 2017 to 14th May 2017 in second time, 30th October 2017 to 11th November 2017 in third time.

Result, camera took 55movies in first time,25movies in second time,0movies third time.

In first time, the mouse act in 4 to 7 hour after sunset.

In second time, the mouse act trend can be seen in 8 hour and midnight.

It was 16minuittes the most mouse’s activity in early time.


I submitted a aboido map about Micromys Minutus to Ministry of Land, infrastructure and transport Kanto regional developmant bureau Keihin river office.

When there are some river developments, I’ll be taking part in conservate investigate of Micromys minutus.

I’ll provide for this surveying datas to some conservate organizations.
